The spread of service-related issues such as tourism, health, tranquility and happiness, at least in part of the national policy in the public sector as well as large investments in private sectors is evident and it should be considered as a good omen. However, as with any emerging issue in Iran, it should be noted that this movement should proceed in its standardized framework to have the best performance, especially since part of the service is done in the form of luxury, and sensitivities related to the quality are high and customers are very sensitive as well.
It is for several years now that fortunately the need to address psychological and tension-related issues of the society has been perceived more than ever and some of these concerns have been operational by launching Spa centers. There are various purposes for investment in this area, from establishment of a luxurious centers with relatively expensive services to setting up smaller centers with the aim of completing service packages such as cosmetics and beauty packages. The opening of hydrotherapy and entertainment complexes or five-star hotels demonstrate that decision making and investing parts of the country have been notified of financial potential of this sector and felt its necessity for people's physical and mental health.
What appears important from this step onwards, is the importance of standardization and quality of the services. It is necessary to quickly reach the binding standards set to have same minimums to provide services to our customers. It may be better that organizations involved including bathhouse owners Union, the Ministry of Sports, Tourism Organization, Ministry of Health and Technical and Vocational Organization, each contribute in proportion to their share in order to reach to the coordination necessary for developed standards of granting licenses as soon as possible. The people associated in this business should be able to enjoy the support of the respective centers to monitor the implementation method and the quality of service, so that a beauty salon with an area of 40 meters and a massage bed, would not be able to name itself as Spa and degrade the tastes of customers.
According to social benefits of having Spa centers and its financial implications, there is no doubt that other vast investments will be attracted in this sector, so it is necessary that with a little care, maintain the customers’ satisfaction in such a way that this emerging and of course very useful industry to be able to serve with maximum power.
