Short Training courses of theory and practice of traditional medicine in English for the first Austrian group was held at Ahmadiyeh health center of College of Traditional Medicine of Tehran University of Medical Sciences
Doctor Amir Homan Kazemi, Deputy International of School of Traditional Medicine of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, said: This course is started from 11th Khordad of Persian calendar (31.05.2016).
Deputy International of School of Traditional Medicine noted: This course has begun in the form of educational cooperation of traditional medicine between Iran and Europe.
He added that last year, during the Austrian president’s visit to Iran, a Memorandum of Understanding between the department of traditional medicine of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and the College of European medicine of Austria was concluded in order to introduce Iranian traditional medicine in Europe with this approach which make us able to attract European students to our country to learn traditional medicine in the form of theoretical and clinical training courses.
Kazemi noted: The second purpose of the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding, is to send Iranian scholars to Austria to train traditional medicine. In this context, in February last year, we held several workshops of traditional medicine in Austria, which was welcomed by Iranian physicians residing in Austria and European doctors.
